All Digital Fine Art Prints we offer are (for now) IRIS Giclée Prints, which are made and certified to comply fully with the standards of the International Association of FineArt Digital Printmakers (IAFADP). Our printmaker is a member of this association. The IRIS 3047 printer utilizes a high-end version of ink-jet technology, which for the first time offers a graphic output quality and fading resistance of the printing colors that rivals classic printing techniques (factor 7 on the "blue wool scale", meaning up to 30 years no fading, and over). The nearly free choice of papers of the highest quality, including deckle edge handmade papers, is another unique advantage. For our prints a heavy english paper, Sommerset Velvet (300g/sqm) is used, which we think is an optimal choice in artistic terms as well as in its physical qualities.This technique is our bechmark for other techniques we are going to use soon.
